How To Join

Before committing to a membership, parents interested in joining HOPE are invited to attend a support group meeting as our guest. Attending this confidential, no-obligation meeting offers parents an opportunity to experience parent-to-parent peer support first-hand, to hear from others about what brought them to HOPE, and to see if HOPE is right for them.

At this meeting, prospective members also receive an orientation session during which they will have a chance to have any questions answered by an experienced parent volunteer. Parents who decide to join are asked to register as a member online prior to their second meeting.

We never want our fees to be a barrier to access. For those who can afford it, registration fees are as follows. If finances are a concern, we are happy to work out a suitable plan that works for you.

Membership Cost Benefits
For the first parent or guardian in a household $50
  • One year membership
  • A copy of our handy parental guidebook Fresh Perspectives
  • Access to the Members Area of our website
  • Reduced rates for workshops and seminars, some of which are free to members
  • Reduced rates for our annual conference
For the second parent or guardian in a household $25
  • The second parent or guardian receives the same membership package as the first family member to join

In addition to defraying the costs associated with workshops, seminars, and our annual conference, membership fees help to cover the operating expenses HOPE incurs in connection to printed materials, website maintenance, financial audits, outreach initiatives, and our informational phone line.
