At HOPE, we believe in the power of parent-to-parent peer support.

We are a volunteer-run network of peer support groups for parents and guardians who share similar struggles, experiences, and concerns related to their adolescent or young adult children. Since 2008, we have served over 1,200 parents.

  • Share your parenting-related struggles and concerns with a non-judgemental and empathetic group of parents who have had similar experiences.
  • Learn practical and effective parenting techniques, uncover new resources, and discover how other parents have learned to navigate similar challenges.
  • Strategize on a way forward for you, your young person, and your family.

In a recent survey, over 93% of our members said that they would recommend HOPE to other parents.

HOPE offers virtual support groups that serve parents throughout Ontario. With the COVID situation settling, HOPE is actively phasing in the re-opening of in-person groups.

HOPE is always here when you need us. Our support groups meet weekly, year-round and membership is on a rolling basis. Parents who join also enjoy access to the Members Area of our website, where they will find tools to help them navigate community services and resources according to their needs.

We thank the following for their generous support to advance HOPE's Mission.
